“Our discounts vary, but as long as you show your JAA membership card you can access discounts,” Miss Chin discloses. “We offer a two percent discount on basic services and five percent on detailing services and our customers can receive bigger discounts depending on the range of services they require.” In addition, the services vary depending on the category of vehicle, and motorists can also make an appointment, if they prefer not to wait in line.

“Khrystal Auto Care is open seven days per week and most public holidays; therefore, we are always here to keep serve our customers,” Miss Chin states.

She pointed out that she has always been in love with motor vehicles, a passion that she inherited from her father, who worked in the trucking industry in Kingston.

“I was always around trucks and my father would often include me when he was repairing the vehicles,” the auto care entrepreneur said, “And, he always advised me that your car should always be clean and properly maintained.”

Currently Miss Chin is the only woman known to own and operate an auto care centre in the Corporate Area. She is now getting into the business of training people in auto detailing. She is offering an auto care training programme which she developed in conjunction with the HEART Trust/NTA and NCTVET.

“Even before I offered this programme, I always ensured that all my technicians were trained. People need to know that that they are leaving the care of their vehicles in the hands of professionals,” she says, emphasizing the need for certification.

Miss Chin says by offering her own training programme, she can maintain and improve the quality of service Khrystal Auto Care provides. “We want our customers to know that we are always using the best products and equipment for motor vehicle care and conditioning. This helps us to maintain our quality of service and professionalism while contributing to the development of the auto care sector,” Miss Chin said.
