The Management and Staff of the Jamaica Automobile Association (JAA) would like to wish all our members, partners and stakeholders a safe Yuletide Season, as we bid farewell to 2014 and usher in the myriad possibilities 2015 offers.

During the year the JAA consolidated the services offered to our members, including a re-organization of our membership structure to form one comprehensive Membership Product as well as a strengthen our Chauffeur services, Driving Academy and continued improvements to our customer relationship management system.

We also increased our efforts to build Road Safety Awareness through our ongoing “Safe Driving, Saves Lives” campaign that saw us organizing the first ever Long Short Walk for Road Safety in Jamaica at the Dover Raceway in St Ann as well as the continued expansion of the JAA Junior Clubs in high schools across the country.

In 2015 the JAA will continue its Road Safety Advocacy  under the “Safe Driving, Saves Lives” campaign, in keeping with the National effort to achieve under 300 deaths on our Roads annually. We continue to work towards achieving the objectives of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety as part of our commitment to this Global campaign and continue to push these objectives within our JAA Junior Clubs.

As part of our continued commitment to our valued Members we will be taking the necessary steps to reduce our response times through improvements in our technical operations. Some of these improvements include an increase in the number of response units to be deployed island wide as well as a revamping of our Technical Dispatch Center to improve service.

I take this opportunity to mention our impending synergy with St. Johns Ambulance Brigade that will result in exciting new initiatives for 2015.

The JAA Driving Academy which has experienced growth during the year will be expanded beyond Kingston to serve other towns across Jamaica, beginning with the Portmore Community. One of the primary services of the JAA is our Fitness Valet Service, currently this is only being offered in the corporate area, however come 2015 we will be extending this to major towns across Jamaica in an effort to offer this benefit to more of our Members.

It is our hope that in the coming year, the JAA will continue to be the first choice when you want to ensure the safety and security of you and yours.
